WORKS WITH TEENS & ADULTS

Hi, I’m Dr. Bree Shelby. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of KY and founder of Integrative Psychological Services. I hold a doctorate in clinical psychology from Walden University and have been a practicing therapist since 2017. I specialize in treating trauma and have been trained in a multitude of trauma-informed modalities including but not limited to EMDR, TF-CBT, psychodrama, experiential therapy, and internal family systems. I also specialize in somatic work and have been trained in somatic experiencing and sensorimotor psychotherapy. I treat a wide variety of mental health issues and work with children, teens, and adults. I provide individual and couples therapy in my practice, and lead groups and intensives as part of the clinical staff at Onsite Workshops in TN.

I believe that authentic and meaningful connection within a therapeutic relationship is key to the healing and transformation process in therapy. Every person deserves to be seen, to be heard, and to be accepted. My hope is to always hold safe space in which you can show up as exactly who you are, where you are…and to show up as exactly who I am, to be with and love you right there, in it and
through it.

Leslie Donner, LPP

she/her

CLINICIAN

HUMANISTIC/INTERPERSONAL THERAPY • PSYCHODYNAMIC THERAPY • TF-CBT • EXISTENTIAL THERAPY • HARM REDUCTION APPROACH • COMPASSIONATE INQUIRY • PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT

WORKS WITH TEENS AND ADULTS

I am so glad you are here! I am Leslie Donner, a Licensed Psychological Practitioner with over two decades of experience in treating folks from all walks of life. I obtained my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Murray State University in 2003 and spent many years teaching in higher ed along with managing contracts with various schools, hospitals and other facilities that focus on mental health and assessment. After gaining some street cred by just living life, I am embracing my first love of doing therapy in an environment that shares my commitment to working with everyone, but especially those who have been marginalized in society.

While I work primarily with teens and adult women, I do have a particular desire to work with mothers. As a mom of three young kids, I want you to know we can make this work. Even if it's telehealth from the carpool line or with your kids sitting around you from home, I understand the realities of life and will use these types of opportunities to enrich your learning and growth. I do have a great deal of experience working with those with chronic health problems, body image disturbance, eating and weight issues as well as behavioral addictions. I will challenge you, but I also understand that immediate change or leaving difficult situations is not always practical or even possible.

Unconventional. That is my approach. Freud meets Buddha with a touch of Julia Sugarbaker. I like to challenge traditional notions of what therapy should look like. We might spend our time describing the source of your angst with 90s song lyrics. Or we might use the tenets of great philosophers to retool your interpretation of events around you. We will investigate the patterns in your life together, get to the root and find new systems that work better. If we can find the meaning in the suffering, we can often remove the suffering. And if we can't find meaning, perhaps we can at least find humor!

she/her

CLINICIAN

PSYCHOTHERAPY • TRAUMA THERAPY • SOMATIC THERAPY • CBT• AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION AND TREATMENT •  NEURODIVERGENT DISORDERS

WORKS WITH CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a licensed psychological associate in Kentucky, graduated from Capella University with a master’s degree in clinical psychology, and have been with Integrative since the beginning of my internship in 2022. In therapy, I take an integrative approach, meaning I blend techniques from different forms of therapy, as I know we are all different people with different needs. I’m trained in and have experience with trauma-focused modalities, somatic therapy, and strengths-based approaches to working with autism spectrum disorder. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, and provide autism assessments for these age ranges.

We are all imperfectly human, and I believe our pasts and present work together to make us who we are today. As a therapist, I am in this with you. I want to stand by and support you through the chaos and the harmony, the dark and the light. You are important and your voice matters, and I will accept you exactly as you are.

WORKS WITH TEENS, YOUNG ADULTS & ADULTS

My name is Juanya Moss (pronounced Wan-Yay). I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindsey Wilson College in 2023 with a Master of Education and Counseling. I am a newly Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA). I have experience working with individuals, of various ages, with acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Over the past 10 years, I've assisted in the nursing care of geriatrics with disabilities such as Sundowners, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other severe mental health disorders related to aging.

Recently, I gained Clinical experience as a Counseling Intake Specialist. While working as an Intake Specialist, I collaborated with clients of ages ranging from five to 80. Although I have worked in healthcare for quite some time now, this is my first role as a Clinical Therapist. I am very grateful for this employment opportunity and the opportunity to learn more about the mental health field; through continued practice and having the support of my new colleagues.

Just as I will show up flaws and all, I want you to do the same when you step into my office. I'm not as put together as my sense of fashion may tell you. And I don't expect you to be either. We're human. I can't guarantee that I will have all the answers. But throughout our time spent in therapy, we will work to find them. The space we hold together will always be safe. I invite you to come exactly as you are. When you step into my office, you can remove the mask you put on before you left home.

You can let your hair down. You can take your shoes off. Whatever you need to do to make my house feel like your home. Because I recognize that the world isn't always going to always let you be so free. Especially if you stand within the margins like myself. You'll never have to worry about being judged around me. My goal as a Therapist is to provide my clients with a safe, free space to sing, dance, cry, and heal as much as they need to. Together, we can work towards being better versions of ourselves. We can grow to be kinder. To be more self-loving. To become more forgiving. All you need is one person to believe that you can. If no one else does, I do.

Amid adversity, be reminded that a flower managed to grow between a crack in the concrete.

WORKS WITH CHILDREN, TEENS & ADULTS

Hi! My name is Cailen. I am a Clinical Intern, currently in my Master’s Program at University of Kentucky to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Murray State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. Being passionate about working with children, I am also prepared and devoted to continue learning therapeutic approaches through my work with adults as well.

Every person deserves a chance to be heard, valued, and encouraged, and my hope is to create a safe space for you to begin your own journey of self-exploration and growth. We will work together to create an individualized treatment plan to help motivate you towards making positive change, healing, and getting what you desire out of life.

OFFICE MANAGER

Hello, I am Heather Arender, and I am the Office Support Assistant here at Integrative Psychological Services. I am in the process of earning my Bachelor's degree in human services and counseling through Lindsey Wilson College. My plans are to continue onto my Master’s with the end goal of becoming a licensed therapist. I dedicate my time being very active in advocating alongside volunteering and community outreach in support of many different purposes.

You will see my face first at the front desk and hear my voice answering your phone calls. I want to add to the calm, welcoming energy this space offers. I've never felt more honored to be in the position where I get to be the first interaction you experience within this space. Kindness is what I hope to offer. “I know for a fact I would not be here today if it wasn’t for Bree’s help. She met me where I was and helped walk me through healing a very dark time in my life. She provided such a safe, positive, and accepting atmosphere that allowed me to breathe and feel like I could be fully myself with her. I can’t thank her enough and am now in the best place of my life.”
